Urban ArtWalk in Saarbrücken
Throughout Saarbrücken's city center, walls and facades are lit up with multicolored works of art by international artists from the urban art scene. There are a total of 17 paintings to discover, which can be explored on foot during a city tour. The free open-air museum passes by other sights such as Saarbrücken Castle and the Ludwigskirche church.

It's precisely during the cold months, when the trees are leafless, that polar and gray wolves can be observed at Wolfspark Merzig. The 8-hectare forest is home to European gray wolves from Lithuania, white polar wolves, Canadian Timber wolves and Mongolian wolves, all of which can be visited via a short hiking trail. Every first Sunday of the month, there's a free lecture at 4pm.
