The Petermann butcher's shop produces over 120 different types of sausage and up to 200 meat products, from classics such as lyoner to dry aged, using traditional craftsmanship. Thomas Petermann is the third generation to run the butcher's shop. He sources the meat from regional farms. Numerous awards confirm the high quality of the products: For several years in a row, “Der Feinschmecker” has ranked the butcher's shop among the 400 best butcher's shops in Germany. Most recently, the beef mettwurst, cheese sausage and Bliesgaulamm bratwurst were awarded a gold medal by an expert jury at the IFFA International Meat Fair. Expert advice in the store in Oberwürzbach is just as much a matter of course as a little chat with customers.
Meat sommelier Thomas Petermann also offers various courses throughout the year to learn more about cutting and preparing meat correctly.
