Built in 1858, the Kreuzberg Chapel stands on a hill high above the town.
From here you cast your eye over the sweeping expanse of countryside, many of Merzig‘s municipalities and several of its striking buildings of historic importance. Below the chapel, an ancient vineyard has again been cultivated with vines.
