Herzweg trail

Due to it not having any major differences in altitude and the good condition of the trail, it is also suitable for families with children and people with physical disabilities. It is certified according to "Tourism for All". The "Africa Chapel", which was built in 1957 on the initiative of former prisoners of war in Morocco, is located directly on the trail. Other special features of the Herzweg trail are the energy-radiating "places of power" and the open-air exhibition "Gipfelkunst am Schaumberg". It is definitely worth making a detour to the Mount Schaumberg plateau with the Mount Schaumberg tower, which was built in 1976 as a symbol of friendship between France and Germany and houses two interesting exhibitions. The view from the tower is magnificent.
