River Cycling in Saarland
On this 6-day cycle tour, you will discover the gently rolling hills of the Bliesgau biosphere reserve and the mountain ranges of the Saargau region near the French border.
Tour profile: The tour combines flat and some hilly sections on excellent cycle paths along the Saar and Moselle rivers as well as on a railway line cycle path. Partly challenging climbs, especially from the river valleys. A normal level of fitness is needed for this tour.

STAGES
Day 1: Arrival and overnight in Saarbrücken
Day 2: 1st stage from Saarbrückenacross the Bliesgau region and back to Saarbrücken, approx. 37 to 54 miles
Day 3: 2nd stages from Saarbrücken to Mettlach, approx. 39 miles
Day 4: 3rd stage from Mettlach to Perl, approx. 28 miles
Day 5: 4th stage from Perl to Saarlouis, approx. 34 miles
Day 6: 5th stage from Saarlouis to Saarbrücken (optional), approx. 16 miles
