Our house is located in Haustadt, a district of Beckingen in a quiet side street. Hiking and cycling trails nearby. The Saar-Lückner circular cycle path leads past the house. Ideal starting point for excursions to the attractions of the border triangle Germany-France-Luxembourg. e.g. Weltkulturerbe Völklinger Hütte, Saarschleife near Mettlach, Villeroy & Boch, the Vauban fortress town of Saarlouis, as well as the oldest city in Germany, Trier and much more. In the village there is a bakery which also offers breakfast. Other shops are in Beckingen, about 3.5 km away. The nearby gastronomy has a small menu and is Do.Fr.Sa. open in the evening. All units have flat screen TVs and are equipped with box spring beds that can be arranged as a single bed or a double bed. Internet can be used by cable or Wi-Fi and is free.
