On the outskirts of Bierbach, the idyllically situated Grohbach Valley opens up and invites visitors to explore and linger. After passing the Kanzel – a striking rock outcrop with a Kneipp pool below – you will reach our spacious playground and the cosy Waldschenke restaurant. Nestled between two small fish ponds, the beer garden offers a relaxed atmosphere that has always been popular with young and old alike. Here you can dream, relax and enjoy nature.
The Grohbach Valley is also an ideal starting point for varied hikes. In one direction, you will reach the "Sieben Fichten" (Seven Spruces), a central meeting point in the forest from which paths lead to Kirkel, Wörschweiler or Lautzkirchen. In the other direction, you will reach the Bliestalfreizeitweg (Bliestal leisure trail). Whether you are looking for a walk, a family outing or a sporting tour, this natural idyll combines relaxation, exercise and a sense of home in a special way.
Next to our covered terrace are our two
barbecue areas, which you are welcome to hire. You are welcome to bring your own food
to barbecue, and drinks can be purchased from us.
