Our forests are perfectly accessible for hikers, sports enthusiasts and people who just want to relax. Mutual respect is very important so that we can use these paths in the long term. Here you can find out more about our forest in Saarland and how together we can make it accessible to everyone.
Wildlife

Who doesn't love a chance encounter with one of Saarland's forest dwellers? Maybe even the rare wild cat? But even when people and (wild) animals meet, there are rules to observe. Find out more about them here!
Plant World

Escape from everyday life and immerse yourself in the deep green of the forests or the colourful diversity of the meadows - this is particularly easy to do in Saarland thanks to its short distances. Nature is full of treasures worth discovering! Whether wild herbs, scattered fruits, mushrooms or colourful flowers, the temptation is great....
