Grimburg Castle and Grimburg Castle and Witch Museum
Grimburg Castle was built around 1190 as the state castle of the Trier hereditary bishops and was formerly the official seat of almost 40 communities in the Hochwald.
The Saar-Hunsrück-Steig is a nature trail, 65% of which is over soft forest floor, over grass paths or along streams. This special quality can make parts of the path more difficult to walk after long periods of rain. Therefore, sturdy shoes are strongly recommended.
