Fishing at the “Losheimer See”

Relax while fishing in one of the most beautifully located lakes in southwest Germany.

Fishing is among the most popular sports on offer at the Losheimer See in the nature park Saar-Hunsrück.

Types of fish

Lake and brown trout, pikeperch, pickerel, carp and tench can be found in the Losheimer See

Fishing period

Apart from certain rest periods for certain types of fish, fishing is possible all throughout the year.

Fishing licence

In order to purchace a fishing permit an official fishing licence is necessary. Every fisherman is obliged to obtain the necessary licence prior to fishing (per person and per day only one permit) from the tourist information on the lake.
