Traumschleifchen Bardenbacher Fels

Traumschleifchen sind Premium-Spazier-Wanderwege, Rundwege mit kurzen Distanzen und wenig Höhenmetern.

Der Bardenbacher Fels ist ein seit 1969 ausgewiesenes Naturschutzgebiet, welches die markanteste Felspartie und die Auen der vorbeifließenden Prims beinhaltet. In den Schluchten und schwer zugänglichen Steilabfällen entwickelte sich eine äußerst artenreiche Vegetation. Damit soll vor allem eines der letzten vorhandenen Auenwaldfragmente des Saarlandes – der Rest der Hartholzaue – geschützt werden.

Das rund 7 km lange Traumschleifchen „Odilienweg“ führt durch die Gebiete der Gemeinden Beckingen und Losheim am See und wurde als Gemeinschaftsprojekt errichtet. Die Strecke läuft durch ausgedehnte Waldgebiete des kleinen und großen Lückners und bietet auf schönen Pfaden zahlreiche Rastmöglichkeiten. Unterwegs passiert der Wanderer die sagenumwobene Odilienkapelle und erlebt abwechslungsreiche Waldbilder.

Der 4,5 km lange Weg führt bei nur minimalen Steigungen von der Tourist-Info am Stausee durch eine sanfte Hügellandschaft.  Der größte Teil führt durch offene Wiesenlandschaften mit schönen Aussichten. Deshalb wurde der Weg „Sonnenrunde“ genannt.

Dieser sogar nur 2,8 km lange Weg nennt neben der Cloef vor allem die „kleine Cloef“ als Aussichtspunkt sein Eigen. Der geheime Garten des Gesundheitszentrums ist ein weiterer Höhepunkt, ebenso wie die „Höhe 400“. Von hier genießt man den „Überblick“ über den Kurpark.
